Canberra HVAC Technicians Preparing to Level up with TACA Accreditation

In 2024, a group of HVAC industry technicians in the Canberra region formed a Study Group to enhance their skills in HVAC system integration and deepen their understanding of the interdependencies between airside and waterside systems.

Following a knowledge gap analysis, the group identified that the Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) process addressed many of their learning needs. As a result, they selected the TACA Technician and Supervisor Level Accreditation as the foundation for their studies.

Six technicians have now completed the 18-month study program and are preparing to sit their TACA Technician Level exam before Christmas 2025.

The current Study Group includes technicians from Airmaster, Dawson Heating & Cooling, Schneider, Canberra Air Conditioning, and Duomec.
